The area around the Amano River basin, between Hirakata and Katano, was once likened to the Milky Way in the heavens, and many poems on the theme of Tanabata were written there.
Hirakata City's event, "Stars, Guidance, Night," is fitting for a place so closely associated with the Tanabata legend.
This event is held every six months in collaboration with Hirakata T-SITE and Alpha Station FM Kyoto, and this year marks the fifth time it has been held.
On the hall stage will be the experimental soul band "WONK", a hub that connects the world, Asia, and Tokyo.
The two acts will perform live: "paranoid voicd," a three-piece female instrumental band from Osaka that focuses on math rock/post-rock and is active both domestically and internationally.
The "Seidouya Mini Marche" will also be held on the lawn plaza. Delicious restaurants from Hirakata City will be set up, and there will also be art workshops and a free live performance by the keyboard harmonica duo "Salut." You can also spend some relaxing time in the plaza before the live performance.
Also, from 18:30, the nearby live music venue "sweet music ReMEMBERS" will host "Star, Guidance, Night 2025 Summer - After Stage -." By showing your wristband, you can enjoy the live event with no music charge.
